In the Community
God wants us to focus on him and put him at the heart of our lives. By doing this, and following his teachings, we can build a better life for ourselves and our families. As part of this we also believe that God should be at the centre of our community.
Some people seem to believe that being a Christian means that you can’t have fun. Well that could not be further from the truth. We believe that being part of the church should be the most fun you can have. We believe that church should be like a big party, and that all are invited. In fact, when Jesus was asked what Heaven was like, he said it was just like one big wedding party.
As a church we like to try and share the party spirit. Therefore throughout the year we do just that and have parties. We of course have Christmas and Easter parties. But we also have summer fetes, barn dances, car washes (good clean fun) and picnics and pub nights. In fact anything where people can come together to share and enjoy each others company.
