Sunday Service
Sunday Morning Service, Howard de Walden Centre
Bluett Street, Maidstone.
10.30am ~ 12.15pm
For all of us this is the high point of the week and is about giving everyone a lift. It is a very informal affair and, as the name of the church implies, is about fellowship.
If you come for the first time you can expect a warm welcome. The doors open about 10.30 when there is a short social time of coffee and greeting friends.
The service proper starts about 10.45.

We start with a time of family worship. We use all types of worship songs and have both old and new. This is a time for all, and everyone is encouraged to contribute prayers and comments.
The worship is followed by a short time, which may include prayer, testimonies or communion. We believe that Jesus came to share openly and without reserve. Therefore communion is offered to everyone in the family and to all visitors who would like to join in.
We then have a time of teaching from the Bible. The children are invited to go to their own special group, but are welcome to stay with their parents and draw or colour if they prefer.
As well as our regular speakers, we have guest speakers from other churches in the area at least once a month. We believe that this not only gives us a wider perspective, but also helps us to build links with other churches in the area, which we greatly value.
Details of upcoming special services and guest speakers can be found on the diary page.
The service usually ends around 12.15 and is followed by coffee, biscuits and most important, a good chat!
