Quiz Night
Tuesday, February 26th, 2008Just to let everyone know that our quiz night in support of Keith and Maureen and the Hope for the Family Romania Trust raised £273.00. toward their work.
On a sadder note we also learned of the sudden death of Fluorina, the little girl with Frazer Syndrome. It is so painful when we hear of the end of a young life that seemed to endure so much pain. However her life was not in vain. Through her suffering many people came to hear of what Keith and Maureen have been doing with children in Romania and have given them practical and financial support which they otherwise would not have received. Through this, many children who live in hopeless despair have been helped. So perhaps through her short life, Fluorina managed to achieve more than we imagine and more than most of us would hope for our own ministry. After all, the greatest example we have, achieved everything through suffering.
Lord we thank you for the short life of Fluorina and we pray that she is now resting peacfully in your arms. Amen
