A big thank you goes to everyone that turned up to support the event. Your generosity meant that £150 of Fairtrade produce and gifts were sold and a further £77 taken in donations will be sent to Tearfund.

So, how many cars can you wash in 4 hours? This year we managed to wash somewhere around 50-60 cars of all shapes and sizes.

It’s Fairtrade fortnight and once again Verity are holding a carwash and coffee event at the Vinters Park Community Centre.

Come along on Sat 10th March between 11am and 3pm, get your car washed for FREE, sample Fairtrade foods for FREE, browse and buy Fairtrade gifts.

This will be our 5th year of running the carwash. It’s a really great event to be part of so come along, get a clean car and choose Fairtrade.
